Hey guys this is my first post and I thought I'd start with the Photoshoot from yesterday with my cousin. I'd been in a creative mood all last week and bursting at the seams to get out with my new 50mm Lens. I gave Ceri a call who loves being in front of the camera and would make a brilliant model, she's very photogenic and at ease in front of the camera so I was already winning 50% with the shots looking good. We make a good team together and have a great laugh which always makes things a little more creative and less tense. I had a vague image in my head of a couple shots I wanted, mainly just a grungy feel to the shots so we went up to Parys Mountain and found 2 great locations. We got very lucky with the weather and the lighting from the sun was just perfect. We also got very lucky when we found a Digger and an old fence which was strange because I'd only just mentioned to Ceri that I wanted an old fence shot or a large prop and there it was, ask and you shall receive. We then went down to the Park because I wanted a Half Pipe shot and also a behind the fence shot, again the lighting couldn't have been more perfect. Im really, really chuffed with the shots and cant wait for another Shoot with Ceri.
Seriously love these shots. Ceri has got an amazing presence in front of the camera and really looks quite beautiful and at ease, as though she's met to be there. I hope she's got a portfolio together to hopefully go into modelling because she would look really great. Loving your shots also, as always, even looking back at these. They are quite brilliant and artsy but in a very natural kind of way. You truly have talent with the camera and whereas I enjoy taking pictures probably about as much as you do I do feel like I still have a lot to learn. We need to meet up for a creative session urgently :)
